Tuesday, June 21, 2022, the American media TMZ revealed that Elon Musk’s transgender daughter wanted to change her name. The 18-year-old would no longer want to be tied to her father.
In January 2020, Elon Musk married Canadian novelist Justine Wilson. From their union were born six children. : Nevada (died at the age of 10 weeks), twins Griffin and Xavier, as well as triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian. After eight years of relationship, the billionaire divorced. In May 2020, he welcomed his seventh child of his short relationship with Claire Boucher. The first name of the child, baptized X Æ A-XII has also caused controversy, because of its complex writing.
However, the general manager of Tesla today has other family concerns. Indeed, her 18-year-old transgender daughter has asked to change name according to information disclosed by TMZ Tuesday, June 21. Xavier Alexander Musk would like to become Vivian Jenna Wilson, and thus take her mother’s maiden name. For this, she would have filed a lawsuit with the superior court of Los Angeles, in Santa Monica. Her change of first name and surname would allow her to switch to the feminine gender.
Elon Musk’s transgender daughter doesn’t want to be tied to him anymore
According to TMZ, the young transgender girl was questioned by the court on the reasons having pushed her to request this change of name. “My gender identity and the fact that I no longer live with my biological father and no longer wish to be related to him in any way or form” she would have answered.
Elon Musk and his transgender daughter never mentioned their relationship as well as their differences in public. If the chief executive of SpaceX had in the past asserted that he “totally supported” transgender people, he had then been accused of transphobia. Indeed, he then said in December 2020: “All these pronouns they use are an aesthetic nightmare“. Words that had not been passed on to the transgender community. Friday, June 24, the one who now wants to be called Vivian Jenna Wilson should speak at a court hearing. She could give more information about her conflicted relationship with her father.
